Nayagada: A youth was found hanging from a tree in a forest under Itamati area of Odisha’s Nayagada district on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Manas Behera of Kodiekahania village.

Sources said his body was reportedly found hanging with his throat slit in the Lunisahi forest in the morning. However, the exact circumstances leading to his death had not been established at the time of reporting.
His family alleged that he was abducted and murdered by unidentified persons.
After receiving information, a police team rushed to the spot and recovered the body. Police are investigating the circumstances that led to his death.
