Berhampur: A young boy and his mother were killed in an accident at Haladiapadar square on the National Highway number 16 on the outskirts of Berhampur on Thursday.
Police identified the victims as Sunil Sahu (23) of Singibadi village near Golanthara and his mother Gitanjali Sahu (43). Police suspect that they were hit and killed by an unidentified vehicle.
Both mother and son were found dead in a pool of blood while the bike was lying on the road when police arrived at the spot.
Police are further investigating into the matter.
