Aska: A youth was killed after unidentified miscreants fired on him at Ramakrushnapur under Sheragarh police limits near Aska in Ganjam district on Thursday night.
The deceased was identified as A Santosh Kumar Reddy.
After getting information regarding the incident, a police team led by the local additional SP reached the spot and started investigation. Past rivalry is being suspected as the reason behind the murder.
In a separate incident, a man was burnt alive after the motorcycle he was riding hit by a kerosene-laden truck at Haladharpur under Ghatagaon police limits in Keonjhar district. Police have seized the truck.
