Phulbani: The headless body of a youth was recovered from Kutamgarh forest in Baliguda of Kandhamal district on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Pipuna Nayak.
Pipuna was missing from his house since December 25. It is suspected that some miscreants have severed his head and dumped the body in the forest area, police sources informed.
The locals of the area alleged that Nayak has been murdered over an old enmity and demanded immediate arrest of the accused.
