Phulbani: The COVID-19 tally in Kandhamal district mounted to 899 on Sunday with an overnight addition of 59 new cases.
According to the district administration, 18 of these cases have been reported from Baliguda followed by 15 from Tumudibandh, 13 from G Udaygiri, five from K Nuagaon, three from Chakapad, two from Kotagard and one each from Phiringia, Daringbadi, and Phulbani.

Among the new cases, 11 are CRPF jawans.
