Balangir: In a major breakthrough, the police on Thursday arrested 12 gamblers after raiding a gambling den at Titilagarh in Balangir district.
As many as 24 motorcycles and Rs 66,000 in cash were recovered from their possession.
Meanwhile, Rambha police have busted a gang of dacoits by arresting 11 persons from Berhampur.
Acting on a tip-off, police arrested the criminals while they were plotting a robbery in the area. A truck, an SUV and a motorcycle were seized from them.
