1641 Patients Recover From COVID-19 In Odisha, Tally Up To 48,576

Bhubaneswar: As many as 1641 COVID-19 patients recovered from the disease and were being discharged from hospitals across the state on Thursday.

Of the day’s recovered cases, 365 were reported from Ganjam, 357 from Khurda, 91 from Sundargarh, 86 from Jajpur, 65 from Gajapati, 63 each from Cuttack and Koraput, 60 from Mayurbhanj and 50 from Kandhamal, according to Health and Family Welfare department.

Rayagada district reported 42 recoveries, Nayagarh 41, Malkangiri 39, Balangir 35, Dhenkanal 33, Jagatsinghpur 33, Balasore 31, Keonjhar 29, Baragarh 25, Bhadrak 24, Jharsuguda 21, Puri 21 and Sambalpur 20.

The number of recovered cases from other districts is as follows:

16 each from Kalahandi and Kendrapada

11 from Nabarangpur

2 from Deogarh
1 each from Angul and Boudh.
With the day’s figure, the total recovered cases in the state have gone up 48,576.
