17 Odisha Girls Rescued From Andhra Railway Station

Bhubaneswar: Police and Childline officials rescued 17 girls who were allegedly being trafficked to Mumbai, from a railway station in Andhra Pradesh.

Sources said the girls are residents of Keonjhar and Gajapati districts in Odisha.

Acting on a tip-off, the police and Childline officials conducted a search operation at the railway station in Andhra Pradesh and rescued the girls. The police have started further investigation into the matter and are trying to contact family members of the rescued girls.
