Bhubaneswar: Two persons died while one was seriously injured when a motorcycle crashed into a protection wall of a bridge on NH 16 in Odisha’s Bhadrak district on Sunday.
According to sources, the accident took place when the three individuals, hailing from West Bengal, were traveling toward Cuttack. They were thrown off the bike into the middle of the road under the impact of the crash. Two died on the spot, while locals rushed the critically injured to Bhadrak Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
On being informed, police reached the scene and the bodies to Bhadrak Medical College for postmortem.
One of the deceased has been identified as Ased Alli (23) from Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal. The identities of the remaining two are yet to be established, the sources added.
