Chennai: Two workers, hailing from Odisha, died on Tuesday after falling into a tank at a papaya juice manufacturing unit at Sadayampalayam near Udumalpet in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruppur district.
The deceased have been identified as Rohit (24) and Arun (30). They were working in the company for the last 5 years.

While one among them slipped into the tank while cleaning the tank and the other met the same fate while attempting the save the former, The HIndu reported.
Police have retrieved the bodies and sent them to Udumalpet government hospital for postmortem, it added.
