200 More Migrants Deboard In Odisha’s Rayagada
Rayagada: A Shramik Ppecial train carrying 200 Odia migrants from Tirupur of Tamil Nadu arrived in Rayagada railway station on Thursday morning.
Thereafter, the passengers were taken in buses to their respective quarantine centres.
Most of these passengers are natives of Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Koraput and Nabarangpur, sources said.
Section 144 imposed in and around the railway station area for smooth transit of the migrants to the quarantine centres and to contain the spread of COVID-19.
Notably, it has been mandatory for every passenger boarding the train to wear face cover, ensuring social distancing norms and hygiene. Meals and drinking water has been provided to the passengers.
