Bhubaneswar: In view of the de-launching and rebuilding work of Bridge No. 80 in the Hirakud–Godbhaga Section on the Sambalpur–Balangir route, certain passenger train services will remain temporarily cancelled on Saturday.
According to East Coast Railway (ECoR), the following train services will be affected from May 16:
Train No. 58303/58304 Sambalpur–Junagarh Road–Sambalpur Passenger, Train No. 58213/58214 Bilaspur–Titlagarh–Bilaspur Passenger, and Train No. 58217/58218 Titlagarh–Raipur–Titlagarh Passenger.
ECoR has requested passengers to take note of these changes and plan their journeys accordingly. Passengers are advised to check the latest updates through the National Train Enquiry System (NTES), IRCTC website/app, or contact official railway enquiry services before starting their journey.
This temporary cancellation is part of essential bridge maintenance work aimed at ensuring long-term safety and operational reliability on the Sambalpur–Balangir section. Normal services are expected to resume after the completion of the work.
