Balasore: Three workers died after getting electrocuted at Gagandhuli village under Khaira area of Odisha’s Balasore district on Sunday.
As per preliminary information, the three labourers came in contact with a live wire while doing plastering work of a septic tank in the village.
The workers were immediately rushed to the district headquarters hospital (DHH) at Bhadrak where doctors declared them dead.
The deceased were identified as Babaji Majhi, Bapi Majhi and Narahari Behera. Two of them belonged to Gagandhuli village while another was from Tentulia village, locals said.
The locals said that they died of electrocution due to the negligence in the electrical arrangement.
