4 Killed, Three Injured In Separate Road Mishaps
Karamadihi/Bramhagiri: At least four people were killed and three sustained critical injuries in two separate road accidents in Sundargarh and Puri districts on Sunday.
In the first incident, three persons died and two others were seriously injured after the car in which they were travelling hit a truck from behind on National Highway-10 near Karamadihi under Sadar police limits in Sundargarh district. One of the deceased has been identified as Suraj Patel of Darlipali village in the district.
Those injured were admitted to Burla hospital.
In Puri, a person was killed while another suffered grievous injuries after the motorcycle they were riding collided with a truck on Bramhagiri-Delang road near Kadipur. The deceased was identified as Ashok Sahu. The injured person, Jagannath Behera, was rushed to Puri hospital for treatment.
Irked over the incident, an angry mob staged a roadblock near the accident spot seeking compensation for the family of the deceased.
