Kendrapara: In another shocking case of sexual violence against minor girls, a four-year-old was allegedly raped by her uncle at Rajkanika in Kendrapara district.
Though the incident had taken place on April 24, the matter came to the light after the family members of the victim lodged a complaint at Rajkanika police station on Sunday.
According to the complaint, the girl was in the house with her grandmother when the accused visited them. He then took the four-year-old to a nearby bamboo bush and raped her.
The girl’s mother further alleged that they have been receiving threats from the accused to settle the matter without the interference of cops.
Basing on the FIR, police have started investigation and conducting raids at different places to nab the accused.
