50K Students Appear For CBSE Class X, Class XII In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Around 50,000 students of Class X and XII of schools affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) are appearing for offline examinations, which began on Wednesday.

The time for each paper has been increased from two hours to three hours this year with students appearing for exams from the full course after a gap of two years due to COVID restrictions. They will be attempting long questions along with multiple-choice questions (MCQ) this time.

The examination timing has been fixed between 10.30 am and 1.30 pm. Class X exams will conclude on March 21 and Class XII exams on April 5.

According to an official statement from CBSE, around 38,83,710 students have registered for CBSE Class X and Class XII board exams. A total of 7,250 centres have been set up across India and 26 countries abroad to conduct these examinations.
