60 Foreign Delegates To Attend ‘Make-In-Odisha’ Conclave

Bhubaneswar: About 60 industrial delegates from several countries, including China, Germany, Japan, Italy, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates, will attend the five-day ‘Make-in-Odisha’ Conclave beginning November 11 in Bhubaneswar.

This was revealed at a high-level review meeting presided over by Industries minister Anant Das with the FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) representatives at the State Secretariat on Friday.

The minister urged the FICCI representatives to make efforts to ensure more investment in the industrial sector of the state through the Conclave this year.

Talking to mediapersons after the meeting, FICCI secretary general Dilip Chenoy and deputy secretary general Arun Chawla said 50 large industries from India, including the 60 foreign industrial delegates will display the products of their respective companies at the Conclave.

They also informed that apart from the overseas delegates, more than 2000 representatives of the companies, who have been invited to invest in the steel, food processing, handloom, chemicals, aerospace and sports sectors, will also attend the Conclave.
