Bhubaneswar: Police on Friday arrested one person and seized 52 grams of brown sugar worth Rs 5 lakh from Mancheswar area in Odisha capital.
After getting information from reliable sources, a police team raided Mancheswar area and seized the contraband. The arrested has been forwarded to court.
The Central Excise Department also seized 18 grams of brown sugar worth Rs 1.5 lakh from Salia Sahi here, the same day.
One person was arrested in this connection.
