COVID-19 Tally In Odisha’s Mayurbhanj Rises To 896, Majority Local Contacts Among New Cases

Mayurbhanj: Mayurbhanj district caseload touched 896 cases on Sunday with 35 new cases.

Among them, 33 are local contact cases while two are COVID warriors, the district administration tweeted.

The new cases have surfaced in Rasgovindpur, Kaptipada, Kuliana, Karanjia, Suliapada, Bisoi, Betnoti, Karanjia NAC, Rairangpur Municipality, Jamda, Kususmi, Bangiriposi, Bahalda, and Baripada municipality.

Contact tracing is underway, it added.

With one death and 606 recoveries, the Mayurbhanj district now has 286 active cases.
