Bhubaneswar: A youth allegedly jumped into the Daya River from a bridge near Nuagaon, on the outskirts of the Odisha capital, on Thursday.
According to sources, an auto-rickshaw driver spotted the person parking a scooter on the bridge and jumping into the river.

Fire Service personnel have launched a search operation to trace him.
Police have seized the two-wheeler. A learner’s licence in the name of one Madhusudan Khuntia of Kapileswar was found in the vehicle.
The reason behind the alleged suicide attempt is not known, sources added.
