Mumbai: In what seems to be adding fuel to fire, film director, Anurag Kashyap, and comedian Kunal Kamra paid a visit to Republic TV Managing Director and Editor-In-Chief, Arnab Goswami to present the award for ‘excellence in journalism’ on Thursday.
Taking a jibe at Goswami, Anurag Kashyap shared that he and Kunal Kamra went to see Goswami, but were not allowed without prior permission. They had a ‘chappal’ framed as an award for Goswami.
Comedian Kunal Kamra doesn’t share a good relationship with the Republic TV MD after videos of the comedian questioning Arnab Goswami in a flight surfaced on the internet.
Kamra too shared the picture. He wrote, “Birthday boy @anuragkashyap72 & me went to the @republic’s office to give Arnab an excellence in journalism award…”
