Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested Agisilaos Demetriades, brother of Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades, for his alleged links with drug peddlers in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
According to a report in Times Now, Agisilaos, a South African national, was arrested by the NCB on Sunday. He will soon be produced before a local court in Mumbai.
Earlier, the NCB had arrested Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, the actor’s house manager Samuel Miranda, personal staff Dipesh Sawant and several others in the drug nexus case.
Rhea was in judicial custody for 28 days before being granted bail by the Bombay High Court.
Several Bollywood celebrities, including Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Shraddha Kapoor, were summoned by the NCB in the drug case.
Sushant was found dead at his Bandra residence on June 14.
The AIIMS panel ruled out foul play and declared that Sushant died by suicide, but the CBI team is still probing other angles in the case.
