Bhubaneswar: East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to run four more special trains and cancelled the services of five trains in its jurisdiction.
Following are details of new special trains:
01. Visakhapatnam-Rayagada Special Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 1650 hrs daily from November 15 and reach Rayagada at 2100 hrs. In the return direction, it will leave Rayagada at 0515 hsr daily from November 16 and reach Visakhapatnam at 0925 hrs. This Train will have stoppages at Simanchalam, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, Gajapatinagaram, Bobbili and Parvatipuram on both directions.
02. Palasa-Visakhapatnam Special Express will leave Palasa at 0525 hrs daily from November 16 and reach Visakhapatnam at 1000hrs. In the return direction, the train will leave Visakhapatnam at 1835hrs daily from November 15 and arrive at Palasa at 2330hrs. It will have stoppages at Naupada, Tilaru, Srikakulam Road, Ponduru, Chipurupalli, Vizianagaram, Kottavalasa and Simanchalam.
03. Palasa-Bhubaneswar Special Express will leave Palasa at 0600hrs daily from November 16 and reach Bhubaneswar at 1010hrs. In the return direction, it will leave Bhubaneswar at 1820 hrs daily from November 15 and arrive at Palasa at 2240hrs. Its stoppages are Sompeta, Ichhapuram, Brahmapur, Chhatrapur, Khalikot, Balugaon, Kalupadaghat, Nirakarpur and Khurda Road.
04. Sambalpur-Rayagada Special Express will leave Sambalpur at 0605 hrs daily from November 15 and reach Rayagada at 1240 hrs. In the return direction, it will leave Rayagada at 1405 hrs daily from November 15 and arrive at Sambalpur at 2020hrs. It will have stoppages at Hirakud, Attabira, Bargarh Road, Barpali, Loisinga, Balangir, Sainthala, Badmal, Titilagarh, Kesinga, Rupra Road, Norla Road, Lanjigarh Road, Ambodala, Muniguda, Theruvali and Singapur Road.
Services of Festival Special withdrawn:
Bhubaneswar-Bangiriposi-Bhubaneswar Festival Special from Bhubaneswar from November 12 and from Bangiriposi from November 13.
Puri-Barbil-Puri Festival Special from Puri fromNovember 13 and from Barbil from November 14.
Puri-Paradeep-Puri Festival Special both from Puri and Paradeep from November 12.
Visakhapatnam_Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam Festival Special both from Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada from November 12.
Puri-Howrah-Puri Weekly Festival Special from Puri from November 12 and from Howrah from November 13.
