Electric Nano Introduced By SainikPod Sit & Go
Bengaluru: An initiative managed by ex-servicemen has launched all-electric cab service called SainikPod Sit & Go here.
It doesn’t have an app and is aimed at people finding app-based services cumbersome and time-consuming.
Commuters just need to wave at a car by looking at the indicator on top. The indicator is green if the cab is free and red if it is occupied. The passenger then needs to give a missed call to start the ride.
It uses Tata’s Nano, converted to electric by Electra EV.
Motherpod, the company, is planning to set up charging stations across the city. Currently, the cars have a range of up to 120 km.
