Plus II Science Result On May 19

Bhubaneswar: Result of the annual Plus II Science examination will be declared on May 19.

Informing this to the mediapersons here on Thursday, School and Mass  Education minister Badri Narayan Patra said the result will be declared by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) at its headquarters office here at 11 am.

He said the results of Arts and Commerce streams will be declared in the last week of May.

Students can know their results on the CHSE official website www.chseodisha.nic.in  and other website www.orissaresults.nic.in

Deputy Controller of Examinations, CHSE, Dr Prabodh Panda, in a statement to the media on May 1 had said compared to last year, the evaluation of Plus II papers will be completed much earlier this year despite the agitation by All Odisha School College Teachers Staff Joint Forum. He had also thanked the teachers who cooperated with the council and joined the evaluation duty after withdrawing their agitation.

The evaluation of answersheets was conducted in two phases from April 4 to 14 and April 16 to 26 at 56 centres.

Of the 56 centres, e-evaluation of the answersheets was conducted at 29 centres. The council had engaged about 7,000 teachers in the evaluation.

Of a total of 3,65,826 students of 1539 junior colleges, 2,33,978 students of Arts, 96,175 students of Science, 27,447 students in Commerce and 8226 students of Vocational Education streams of 1504 colleges had appeared for the examinations at 1,104 centres.
