COVID-19 Resurgence Scare: Wedding Gatherings Get Leaner In Odisha’s Cuttack City
Cuttack: Amid the COVID-19 resurgence scare, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) has pruned the number of guests participating in wedding and funeral within its limits in the city.
Now, a maximum of 100 persons will be allowed to attend marriage-related functions in Cuttack city. Only 50 persons can attend death rituals and funeral.
This comes a day after Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation capped the maximum number of persons attending a wedding to 100.

From March 26, the Odisha government had reduced the number of attendees at marriage and related functions to 200 persons while allowing 50 persons to participate in funeral/last rites.
