Balangir: Vigilance sleuths on Saturday raided Gunupur excise inspector Lalitmohan Mishra’s residence and office on charges of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
According to reports, simultaneous raids were carried out at Mishra’s office at Gunupur in Rayagada district, rented house and in-law’s residence at Patnagarh in Balangir district, parental house at Bhutiarbahal and another house located at Adarshpada.
During the search, the officials seized several bank documents and some LIC bonds. The total assets detected were calculated at more than 1 crore.
