Bhawanipatna: The body of a youth was recovered from Indravati river near Khamarpadar village in Kalahandi district on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Sukru Majhi, a resident of Khamarpadar village.

The body was discovered by some locals who immediately alerted the police regarding the same.
According to villagers, the youth had gone missing since last two days after being swept away by floodwaters.
Thuamul Rampur police have seized the body and sent it for autopsy.
Meanwhile, some of the locals demanded assistance for the family members of the deceased from the district administration.
