Vedanta Aluminium Organises Yoga Camp At AMRI Hospital In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Vedanta Aluminium in association with AMRI Hospital in Odisha capital and Bhakti Vedanta Institute organised the yoga camp on the occasion of World Yoga Day on Tuesday.

A large number of employees of Vedanta Aluminium and AMRI Hospital and members of Bhakti Vedanta Institute participated in the yoga programme organised on AMRI Hospital premises. Vedanta Aluminium also organised yoga camps on its plant premises at Lanjigarh and Jharsuguda. The participants performed various yoga asanas and pranayams under the guidance of yoga teacher Abhishek.

Speaking on the occasion, Swami Jitun Dhal and Swami Achyuta Keshav Das, directors of Bhakti Vedanta institute, said yoga is vital for physical health as well as mental and spiritual progress. “Yoga is one of six branches of the Vedas through which we can take our life to the pinnacle of all-round development,” they added.

Appreciating the initiative of Vedanta Aluminium, Niranjana Chakraborty, Director, AMRI Hospital, expressed confidence that her organisation looked forward to collaborate with the company in various community development programmes.
