Hyderabad: The success of ‘RRR’ has sent the stock of the already popular Jr NTR and Ram Charan, his co-star in the Oscar-winning SS Rajamouli film, to an all-time high.
Despite being just 39 years old, why did Jr NTR recently say that he will quit films?
Jr NTR made the comment at a pre-release event of ‘Das Ka Dhamki’, where he was chief guest.
Asked about his next release, Jr NTR looked a tad irritated.
“I am not doing any movie. If you ask repeatedly, I’ll stop doing movies,” the Telugu actor quipped.
Realising that his remark may be misunderstood, Jr NTR assured his fans that he is not going anywhere and will be back on the big screen soon.
Jr NTR is gearing up for his next movie, tentatively titled ‘NTR 30’, a pan-India project which will mark Janhvi Kapoor’s Telugu debut.
‘RRR’, an action-adventure movie, made history by bagging an Oscar for Best Original Song for the chartbuster track ‘Naatu Naatu’ last Sunday.
