Odisha Deputy CM Meets Anganwadi Worker’s Daughter Who Cracked NEET With Self-Study

Bhubaneswar: Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida met Linsa Pradhan, a brilliant student from Odisha’s tribal-dominated Kandhamal district who cracked NEET entrance exam by self-study.

Linsa, belonging to Garjedi village in Badabanga panchayat of Daringbadi block in Kandhamal district, succeeded without attending coaching or private tution, which is a major achievement, the Deputy CM noted after meeting her on Sunday.

“Hard work and determination never goes in vail. Though physically challenged at birth, Linsa never lost of her goal amid a life replete with difficulties. She is a source of inspiration for all students,” said Parida.

Linsa’s father is as teacher at an Upper Primary School while her mother is an Anganwadi worker. She has decided to pursue MBBS at MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.

During the meeting, the young girl requested Parida who also heads Women and Child Development department, to facilitate a duplicate copy of her Plus II certificate.

The Deputy CM assured all support to Linsa and prayed Lord Jagannath for a bright future for her.
