Bhubaneswar: Odisha government on Wednesday appointed senior technocrat Guru Charan Das as Managing Director of Water Corporation of Odisha (WATCO).
According to a notification issued by the Housing and Urban Development department, Das (Additional Chief Engineer, Public Health), is currently posted as General Manager WATCO Division II.

In supersession to all previous orders, government at the level of Chief Minister appointed Guru Charan Das as the MD of WATCO with immediate effect, the notification issued by H&UD Principal Secretary Usha Padhee read.
