Man Who Threatened Salman Khan ‘Apologises’ For Demanding Rs 5 Crore
Mumbai: The brutal murder of former NCP leader Baba Siddique and death threats to Salman Khan have been the talking points in the film industry of late.
In the latest threat to Salman, via WhatsApp message, a miscreant had demanded Rs 5 crore to end the feud with Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
However, the miscreant seems to have had a change of heart, and sent another message to apologise for threatening the Bollywood superstar.
Mumbai Traffic Police on Monday said they have received another message from the same number in which the person apologised and said he had made a mistake by sending the earlier threatening message.
Investigating officials have reportedly traced the number from which these messages were sent. The number has been traced to Jharkhand and a team from Mumbai Police is already there to track down the culprit.
On October 18, Mumbai Traffic Police had received a threat message on WhatsApp which read: “Don’t take this lightly. If Salman Khan wants to stay alive and end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, he must pay ₹ 5 crore. If the money is not given, his condition will be worse than Baba Siddique’s.”
Following the multiple threats, Salman has been provided with Y+ security. Security around his house has also been tightened, with CCTV cameras and additional guards being installed.
In an interview with ABP Live, Salman’s father Salim Khan said these threats are merely for extortion and that his son won’t apologise to anyone.
