New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday released a 100-rupee coin in memory of BJP leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
“The mind is not ready to believe that Atal Ji is no longer with us,” PM Modi said.
Atal Bihari Vajpayee passed away on August 16 this year, at the age of 93. The coin has the former Prime Minister’s image and name inscribed in it. His birth and death years 1924 and 2018 have also been embedded in the coin. The coin weighs 35 grams.
