Mumbai: Even as the highly-anticipated Salman Khan-starrer ‘Sikandar’ tanked at the box office, a deleted scene from the film, featuring Kajal Agarwal, has sparked curiosity among movie buffs.
The leaked deleted scene shows a moment where Kajal’s character attempts suicide because of family pressure.
Eventually, Salman’s character steps into the scene, and schools the actress about the value and importance of life. The on-screen ‘Sikandar’ also lectures Kajal’s on-screen in-laws to change their mindset.
The deleted scene, which is all over social media platforms, has left audiences wondering what could have happened if the scene was retained in the film.
Many believe that Kajal’s scene, if included in the final cut, would have helped the film attract more people to the theatres and thereby mint more money.
“This scene would have been more effective looking at the current scenario of generation suicide topic the scene was covered beautifully and the way Salman explained her bad exiting i can say now what’s happened happened,” a fan wrote.
Another shared, “Yes what happened happened, but I wish they would release the unedited version, there are other things in it, I think it would get even more audience than now”.
“This was needed. Because lungs and heart ka donation waste jata uska reason batay tha eye ka donation waste jane ka reason ye tha jo batana chaiye tha (Because the reason for behind why lung and heart donations was a waste was explained, but the reason for the waste of eye donation is what had to be highlighted),” shared one fan.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film revolves around Salman’s character ‘Sikandar’, who is on a mission to protect the three people whom his wife had donated organs to.
The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, and Sharman Joshi in key roles.
The film, which hit theatres on March 30, managed to earn only ₹184 crore worldwide at the box office.
