Mumbai: Netizens can’t keep calm as at the age of 47, actress Rani Mukerji is set to return as fearless cop Shivani Shivaji Roy in the upcoming film ‘Mardaani 3’.
Yash Raj Films (YRF) took to its official Instagram handle on Monday and shared the first look of Rani.
In the first look poster, Rani is seen sporting a black shirt, paired with blue denims and black boots. She has a gun in her hand, which she points towards the camera.
The date of release was also announced.
“The countdown begins for #Mardaani3! On Holi, good will fight evil as Shivani Shivaji Roy returns to the big screen on February 27, 2026,” YRF captioned the poster.
Soon, netizens took to the comments section to express their excitement.
“This one franchise is far, far better than all Salman and Ranbir movies,” said one user.
Another wrote, “Wow, what a look. Rani is slaying it and how.”
One person observed, “She is brutal this time. My Rani is back.”

Directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Aditya Chopra, the film is the third instalment of the ‘Mardaani’ franchise.
