New Delhi: Fresh visuals of the Pahalgam terror attack which claimed at least 26 lives, mostly male Hindu tourists, have surfaced on social media. Some of these new visuals show execution-style killings of the tourists. Watch below:

A local terrorist from Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district had reportedly guided the attackers responsible for the deadly attack on mostly Hindu tourists in Pahalgam. The local, identified as Adil, had received terror training in Pakistan, the TOI reported.
According to sources cited in the TOI report, Adil Guree knew the Baisaran area in Pahalgam very well. It is a beautiful but remote meadow surrounded by dense pine forests. This local knowledge helped the terrorists plan the strike as Adil is believed to have helped them find a hideout, study the area for days, and finalise the attack method and timing, and also secure an escape route, the TOI reported. According to reports, Adil had legally travelled to Pakistan in 2018 through the Attari-Wagah land border. He infiltrated back into Jammu and Kashmir last year after being trained in Pakistan, the TOI report claimed.
Beating retreat likely to be suspended
The Beating Retreat ceremony of the Border Security Force (BSF) at the Attari Border is likely to be suspended on Thursday, the first day after the government announced the closure of the integrated check post (ICP) at the border in Punjab with immediate effect, reported Hindustan Times.
However, reports citing BSF officials on the ground said they were yet to receive any communication from the Delhi headquarters in this regard. The ceremony draws several thousand people to the Attari-Wagah border every afternoon.
The ICP is only open for those with valid endorsements enabling them to return before May 1, 2025. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Government’s official account on X, formerly Twitter, has been withheld by the platform. The account of the Pakistan government (@GovtofPakistan) is no longer accessible to users in India.
“@GovtofPakistan has been withheld in IN in response to a legal demand,” read a note on X. This indicates X was requested to withhold the specified account in response to a valid legal demand, which could be a court order.
