New Delhi: First, Operation Sindoor was carried out by India’s Armed forces with great precision to destroy nine terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
Then, when they tried to attack several Indian cities in the north and north-west, Pakistan’s drones were successfully intercepted by our air defence system, preventing any kind of damage.
Pakistan seems to be at its wits end to figure out how to cope up with India’s tactics, and frustration is engulfing the economically-challenged nation.
The general mood was reflected in the National Assembly, as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif faced the heat from Opposition parties on the way the government and Army were dealing with the situation.
Questioning Sharif’s leadership, Shahid Ahmed called the PM a ‘buzdil’ (coward) who is afraid of even uttering the name of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The MP from jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party is heard lamenting that Pakistan’s army is demoralised and the nation is helpless due to lack of formidable leadership in the country.
“I recall the words of Tipu Sultan.. if a lion leads an army of jackals, then they too fight like a lion. However, if a jackal leads an army of lions, then the army cannot fight. They lose battles. There are jawans at our border who seek inspiration from our leader… but if your leader is buzdil (coward), who can’t even take the name of Modi, then what message are you sending to the soldiers at our borders,” Shahid said.

A day earlier, another MP sought divine intervention in the war-like situation with India, during an emotional speech in the National Assembly.
Tahir Iqbal, who belongs to Prime Minister Sharif’s PML-N party, prayed to Allah to save the country.
