Mumbai: An FIR was registered on Friday in connection with tension and chaos on the sets of Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s film ‘Pati Patni Aur Who 2’ two days earlier.
In a viral video from the sets of the film in Prayagraj’s Civil Lines area, few locals were seen assaulting a crew member, apparently the film’s production head Zoheb Solapurwala.
In another video, actors Ayushmann and Sara were seen engaged in heated talk.
An FIR was registered by line producer Saurabh Tiwari at Civil Lines police station against one Meraj Ali, who recorded and shared the video on social media. The other miscreants are yet to be identified.
“The team from Mumbai was shooting on the Civil Lines when someone tried to capture the film on camera. The crew member objected to it and shouted at the person. Two-three people pounced on him and slapped the team member,” Saurabh complained.
DCP (City) Abhishek Bharti informed that a police team has been assigned for security of the shooting team. “There was a police team on Thursday to regulate traffic, but some boys made videos with their mobiles resulting in the altercation.”
The FIR has been filed under Sections 191 (2)115 (2) 352 351 (2) 351(3) and Section 66 of IT act 2008.
On Wednesday, a crowd had gathered to see Ayushmann and Sara’s shooting. This resulted in acute traffic jam in that area.
Some locals created a ruckus at the shoot location and beat up a crew member, as shown in the viral video.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film’s shooting, which started on August 15, is expected to continue till September 11.
