Mumbai: Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s highly-anticipated spy thriller ‘Alpha’ might see Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan playing ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Tiger’, respectively.
According to sources close to the project, YRF head honcho Aditya Chopra has already approached Shah Rukh for a cameo in the film.
“At the moment, Pathaan is the most talked about character of the Spy Universe. Aditya Chopra has picked up the call on Shah Rukh Khan to make a cameo in Alpha. He has designed a special part for him, which leads to Pathaan 2. Shah Rukh Khan has asked for some time to think over the same, as he has allotted bulk dates to King at the moment,” Bollywood Hungama quoted a source as saying.
Shah Rukh, who is currently busy shooting for ‘King’, is apparently trying to work around his tight schedule to give dates for ‘Alpha’.
“He will confirm his presence in a week to 10 days. If not a proper cameo, he might just shoot for an end-credit sequence of Alpha.”
The source also said that YRF may approach Salman to play ‘Tiger’ in ‘Alpha.’
“He will approach Salman only when the cameo’s impact is as good as the one for Tiger in Pathaan had,” the source said.
‘Alpha’ is the first women-led film in YRF’s spy universe. Besides Alia and Sharvari, the film also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol, and is slated to release on Christmas this year.
