Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance launched simultaneous searches at seven locations linked to Pramod Ray, Assistant Executive Engineer of Derabish Irrigation Sub-Division under Kendrapada Division on allegations of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
A Vigilance statement said the searches are being conducted in Kendrapada, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Bhadrak, and Bhubaneswar, led by two Additional Superintendents of Police (ASPs), nine Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), nine Inspectors, four Assistant Sub-Inspectors, and other staff, with search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack.
Searches are underway at the following seven locations 👇
1.Four storeyed building of Ray located at Johala, Balianta, Bhubaneswar.
2. Double storeyed building of Ray at Jajabhairab, Chaudwar, Cuttack.
3. His parental house located at Ragadi, Banki, Dist-Cuttack.
4.House of his relative at Budanga, Bhadrak.
5. His office chamber cum temporary residence located at Derabish irrigation Office, Kendrapada.
6.House of his relative located at Sanasathiebatia, Dist-Dhenkanal.
7.House of his relative at Patia, Bhubaneswar.
The search operation is in progress and further details are awaited.
