Bhubaneswar: Odisha is likely to experience squally weather conditions till May 11 with a cyclonic circulation lying over interior parts of the state and adjoining Chhattisgarh, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Thursday.
The weather agency has also forecast a rise in the day temperature by 2-3°C during the next 2 days.

Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty surface wind (40-50 kmph) may occur in the afternoon/evening hours at one or two places in the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nuapada, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Bargarh, Angul, Sonepur, Boudh and Balangir.
Similar weather conditions with gusty surface wind (30-40 kmph) is also likely in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri.
