Bengaluru: Three persons were arrested for their alleged involvement in the murder of Congress leader and contractor David D’Souza in Karnataka’s Udupi district.
D’Souza was shot dead at the St Xavier’s Church Complex in Mudrangadi on August 7, reported India Today.
According to police, the leader was walking towards the driver’s side of his vehicle when one of the bike-borne assailants shot at him.
He sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Adarsh Hospital in Udupi, where doctors declared him dead. A case of murder and offences under the Arms Act was registered at Shirva police station.
