Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor and MrBeast shared a memorable moment at a Ramayana event when the Bollywood star taught the global YouTube sensation to chant “Jai Shree Ram”.
Their unexpected interaction was caught on camera, and the clip has since grabbed attention online.
American YouTuber MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is currently in Mumbai as part of the promotional campaign for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana.
In the video, a paparazzo is heard calling out, “Jai Shree Ram, MrBeast!” at the event.
The YouTuber appeared unsure of how to respond, prompting Ranbir to step in and guide him to repeat the chant.
Following Ranbir’s cue, MrBeast said, “Jai Shree Ram,” drawing cheers from those present. Ranbir was then seen explaining the significance of Lord Ram to the YouTuber.
The actor described Lord Ram as a prince who gave up his privileged life to honour his father’s promise and fulfil his duties.
He said, “He was born as a prince and had everything. But, he sacrificed all to fulfil his father’s promise and for his duties. He is known as a perfect man, and I hope that through this film, you can have a brief introduction to our culture, to our history and where it all began.”

Meanwhile, Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana has emerged as one of the most anticipated films, with its grand scale and star-studded cast generating considerable buzz.
Since its announcement, the ambitious two-part project has kept audiences intrigued with glimpses of its larger-than-life world.
The makers dropped the first trailer on July 30, offering a closer look at Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana.
The trailer also teased the film’s expansive world and introduced several key supporting characters.
The cast includes Ravie as Lakshman, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Rakul Preet Singh as Shurpanakha.
The first part of Ramayana is slated to arrive in theatres on Diwali 2026, while the second instalment is scheduled for release in 2027.
