Mumbai: Vicky Kaushal is turning up the intensity in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War’.
The actor’s first-look poster features him with a scarred face, a cigarette in hand and an intense gaze, offering a glimpse of his rugged avatar in the much-awaited film.
In the poster, Vicky is seen lighting a white cigarette with a classic silver Zippo-style lighter held in his right hand.
Smoke swirls around his face as he stares straight into the camera with a brooding expression.
His slightly furrowed brows, thick moustache and visible scar on his forehead further add to his rugged appearance.
A gold ring on his right hand and a dark collared shirt complete the look.
Sharing the first look, the makers wrote, “Nazre milengi, lekin hatengi nahin! 🧿 Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War on 21st January 2027 ❤️ See you at the movies! 🎬 #LoveAndWar.”

Alia Bhatt also shared another poster featuring Vicky and wrote, “In his SLB Era. Love & War 21.01.2027.”
The second poster has a rich, cinematic palette of olive green, brown and muted gold, with Vicky standing chest-deep in a pool of dark green water at its centre.
Sporting dark, wavy hair, a thick moustache and light stubble, he is dressed in a dark shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his forearms.
A watch is visible on his left wrist, while he holds a large bouquet of tiny pale yellow and white flowers close to his chest.
An imposing palace-like structure forms the backdrop, featuring warm sandy-coloured walls, tall arched windows and ornate jali screens.
Soft golden light filtering through the screens adds to the grandeur of the frame.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal as the lead trio, marking their first collaboration in a Bhansali film.
Written by Bhansali and Ila Bedi Dutta, the film also features Supriya Pathak in a key role.
After two changes to its release schedule, ‘Love & War’ is now set to hit theatres worldwide on January 21, 2027.
The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
