The meteorological centre, Bhubaneswar, on Friday forecast thunderstorm, lightning and light rainfall at one or two places in Mayurbhanj between 6.45 pm and 9.45 pm.
It has also predicted similar weather conditions in Kalahandi, Koraput, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam Sundargarh, Jharsuguda and Keonjhar between 5.45 pm and 8.45 pm.
