Balasore: Excise sleuths on Thursday seized a huge quantity of illicit foreign liquor during raids at different places in Balasore district and arrested five persons.
Those arrested were identified as Gajia Mohapatra, Bhawani Sekhar Patra, Chitruda Behera, Bijay Kumar Sahu and Raul. They have been forwarded to court.

According to available information, the excise officials carried out simultaneous raids at Soro, Markona and Bahanaga areas of the district acting on specific information.
