Mumbai: Bajrang Dal activists in Bihar’s Forbesganj recently staged a protest against Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s third marriage to Gauri Spratt.
During the demonstration, they burnt an effigy of the actor and accused him of engaging in what they described as “love jihad.”
Protesters also raised slogans such as ‘Aamir Khan murdabad’ and ‘Aamir Khan jihadi Bharat chodo.’
“Aamir lagataar Hindu behen betiyon ko shaadi racha kar ke line laga raha hai (Aamir is repeatedly marrying Hindu women)”, Bajrang Dal leader Manoj Soni alleged.
Soni further alleged that Aamir was part of a larger conspiracy “to weaken the Hindus” and warned that the organisation would “teach him a lesson” if he did not stop what he called such “antics.”
“Shaadi karta hai Hindu beti se aur paida karta hai Taimuz, Afroz, Salman, kahan ka niyam hai bhai. Akhir unko Muslim samaj ke bahu beti se pyaar kyun nahi ho raha hai? Hindu beti se unko pyaar kyun ho raha hai (He marries a Hindu woman but names the children Taimur, Afroz, or Salman — what kind of rule is this? Why doesn’t he fall in love with the daughters or daughters-in-law of the Muslim community? Why does he only love Hindu women?),” Soni said in the video, as reported by Siasat.
Soni further urged the courts and the government to take action against the actor, alleging that Aamir was attempting to disrupt communal harmony in the country.
Before marrying Gauri, Aamir was married to Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao.
In 2002, he parted ways with Reena and then married Kiran in 2005.
However, Aamir’s second marriage also didn’t work out and the couple parted ways in 2021.
Aamir and Gauri got married on July 5, 2026, in an intimate ceremony at the actor’s residence in Bandra, Mumbai.
The couple completed a legal marriage registration in the presence of close family members and friends.
