Mumbai: After months of speculation, Abhishek Bachchan addressed swirling rumours which claimed his married life with Aishwarya Rai had hit rock bottom and that they were on the verge of parting ways.
Breaking his silence, Abhishek told Instant Bollywood, “I go back home to a happy family.”
His wife does not let the outside noise affect the family, Abhishek said.
“One thing is for sure, first my mother (Jaya Bachchan) and now my wife (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), they don’t allow that outside world to come in there,” revealed Abhishek.
“I have grown up in this film industry, so I also know what to take seriously and what not to take seriously. I don’t get affected by what’s happening on social media,” he said.
Abhishek and Aishwarya, who got married in 2007, have a daughter named Aaradhya Bachchan.
Rumours of trouble in Abhishek and Aishwarya’s paradise started doing the rounds after the couple was spotted arriving separately at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding last year.
Addressing the rumours, Amitabh Bachchan earlier shared, “I rarely say much about family, because that is my domain and its privacy is maintained by me .. Speculations are speculations .. they are speculated untruths, without verifications .. Verifications are sought by the seekers to authenticate their business and commercials of the profession they be in .. I shall not challenge their desire to be in the profession of their choice .. and I shall appreciate their effort in serving society .. But untruths .. or selected question marked information can be a legal safeguard for them that inform .. but the seed of suspected belief is sown with this most used emblem .. the question mark ..?”
