Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has agreed to provide financial support to private airlines AirAsia to operate a direct flight service between Bhubaneswar and Pune for three months, the Odisha Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) informed on Tuesday.

To further enhance air connectivity into #Odisha, State Govt has agreed to provide financial support for @AirAsia’s direct flight operation between #Bhubaneswar and Pune for three months. Apart from improving connectivity, it will give boost to tourism and investor footfall. pic.twitter.com/VX4CojkbCW

The CMO tweet further said the state government is keen on enhancing air connectivity to Odisha which will boost its tourism sector and attract more investors.
